Celeb Q and A
You ask the questions!
cbs.soapsindepth.com gives you a chance to ask questions of your favorite stars!

Dear Thad,
Have you ever thought about getting married and having a family anytime soon?
Alysha
Dear Alysha,
No.
Dear Thad,
I’d love to be an actress when I’m older. Do you have any tips for the younger actors/actresses who are just now starting out?
Christina Chu
Dear Christina,
Just follow your dream. I really think it’s important to keep the desire and cultivate it rather than get discouraged. I’d also recommend working in theaters or do any acting you can to better yourself as an actor. If you want to be an actor, be an actor! Don’t get discouraged!
Dear Thad,
Ellen Folsom asks… Does your private life have any similarity to the J.T. role you play? (I like the "new" J.T., and hope they keep the "moral" one permanently!)
Ellen Folsom
Dear Ellen,
Only in that he’s an independent person. I’m very much like that as well. That maybe the only true parallel between us, though.
Dear Thad,
What scenes are the most fun for you to do?
Becky
Dear Becky,
I like the real action scenes. I can’t think of anything specific, but those are my favorites.
Dear Thad,
What’s it like having to do love scenes with an older woman?
Tiara
Dear Tiara,
Well, yeah, Mitzi Kapture (Anita) is an amazing actress, so to be able to work with her was a really wonderful experience. And, also, she’s pretty hot! She’s not bad at all!
Dear Thad,
Are you glad that J.T. is a nice guy since he fell in love with Colleen, or did you like the wild J.T. better?
Betsy
Dear Betsy,
I like the mix. I like the blend. As long as he’s not too soft, you know. There are moments in time, especially in a relationship, where you’re going to have that, which is great. It’s good for my character, too, but I like the mix that includes a little of both, a little nicer but still edgy.
Dear Thad,
I heard you’re an identical twin. Who is older — you or your brother?
Jordi
Dear Jordi,
I am — by 12 minutes!
Dear Thad,
What is the most important lesson that you have learned throughout your acting career?
Christina
Dear Christina,
I honestly can’t say just one. It seems like I’m always learning something every day in the business. If it’s not drama, then it’s about comedy. If it’s not comedy, then it’s about auditioning… there are technical aspects of the business that I’m learning almost daily, and it’s ongoing.
Dear Thad,
I read that you graduated from OU with a business degree. I go to Texas Tech (fellow Big 12!), so how did you end up in TV?
Lindsey
Dear Lindsey,
It’s kind of a complicated story. I just moved out to Los Angeles. I put a suitcase in my car and drove out. Once I made the big move, I just started kind of getting into the business. I went to an acting class, and from there I got lucky to find someone who was interested in representing me. From then on, it was just a matter of auditioning. Hitting the pavement. And sticking to my choice.
Dear Thad,
If you could take the place of any lead actor from a film, past or present, which role would you like to have played?
Clarrissa
Dear Clarrissa,
Well, that’s a tough call. I really like Robert Duvall… He’s my favorite actor. Even though our ages aren’t even close to the same, I really would love to do some of the kinds of roles he does. Like when he was in The Apostle, I remember him being so good in that. Roles like that, where you commit yourself that much to a part… I would love to do something that challenging, that intense, at some point in my life.
Dear Thad,
I would like to know who encouraged you to become an actor?
Elaine
Dear Elaine,
Well, no one, really. My parents were always kind of like, "Do what you want to do." Acting was really something that just kind of came about for me, and I just kind of stuck with it. My parents, though, were very supportive and told me that whatever I want to do, just to go for it.
Dear Thad,
As an Oklahoma native, are you a fan of country music?
Jana
Dear Jana,
Oh, yeah! Definitely!
Dear Thad,
Do you write the songs that you’ve sung to Colleen on Y&R?
Lia
Dear Lia,
Yes.
Dear Thad,
I love the scenes between you and David Lago. Do you think eventually J.T. and Raul will become best buds?
Becky
Dear Becky,
Yeah. At least, Raul will be the closest to what J.T. will let somebody into his life as a friend. If you notice, he doesn’t have a lot of friends. I think it’s pretty evident that’s where they’re heading with it, but it would be one of those deals… it would be a tough love-type friendship. To answer the question, Raul will be as close a friend that J.T. can possibly have as a friend.
Dear Thad,
Are you comfortable doing love scenes, especially if you know your mother is watching?
Melissa
Dear Melissa,
It’s all acting! Really!
