You're right! More than a decade ago, Brad was engaged to marry boss Victor's then ex-wife. However, when Victor was shot on what was to be her wedding day, Nikki couldn't help racing to be by his side. Once cleared of the crime, Brad dumped Nikki and left town.

Jack Wagner (Nick) wrote and recorded the ballad for his 2005 album, Dancing In The Moonlight. On the soap, the tune was supposed to have been penned by Nick for Bridget.
