Having decided to settle down in Oakdale, Simon enjoyed New Year’s Eve with Katie, Henry and Jacob. Clarissa arrived in town to push Simon into completing their real-estate scam, but he didn’t want to ruin the life he was building in Oakdale. Katie saw the pair together, but Simon assured her he wasn’t getting involved with the con woman. Although she pulled away from her ex-husband’s kiss, Katie later admitted that she was falling for him again. Returning to work, Katie had a breakdown during taping and ran into Simon’s waiting arms. Henry tried becoming Clarissa’s new partner, but Katie and Simon wound up coming to his rescue by posing as FBI agents and putting an end to the scam. Furious that years of planning had gone down the drain, Clarissa was upset that Simon was willing to give it all up for life in a small town. Fearing Simon could never be happy in Oakdale, Katie urged him to go. When he insisted he wanted to be with her, Katie offered to leave town with him! Stunned, Margo and Henry used Katie’s going-away party as their last chance to convince her to stay!
Is Mick Killing Emily?
Mick confessed to Alison that he sometimes felt like two people. Confronted by Emily about his interest in Paul, Mick used his penlight to knock her out. Finding his wife unconscious, Paul rushed her to the hospital. As Mick promised to bring in a sample of his serum for testing, Susan railed at Paul for allowing her daughter to become a human guinea pig. Susan also blasted Alison for not revealing that she was planning to walk down the aisle with Casey. Alison apologized to her mom and later cried on Mick’s shoulder, but he dashed off upon feeling another of his mysterious headaches coming on.
Holden & Molly Make Love!
Noah warned Luke of his intention to go to California to see a specialist who could restore his sight. Shocked to find Lily at the hospital awaiting the results of a pregnancy test, a reeling Holden fell right into Molly’s bed! Lily — who turned out not to be pregnant — and Holden later sniped at each other about their respective taste in lovers. Steaming, Lily took Damian up on his offer to take her away. Meg stopped taking her medication and convinced the doctors that she was getting better. Meg taunted Damian with the news that she’d soon be released, so he returned the favor by going to the hospital and pushing her buttons until she threw a mattress at him and — whoops! — revealed to the doctors all the pills she hadn’t been taking! Damian smugly left, fairly sure Meg would not be going anywhere.
Tragedy For Liberty
Wracked with guilt over having slept with Dusty, Janet told Jack she’d spoken to a priest about ending their marriage and moved out of the farm. Sage plotted to reunite Jack and Carly by convincing them to take her to Michigan so she could enter the Miss Snowflake America pageant. When Craig followed, Carly pushed him away by claiming she planned on seducing Jack during the trip! Jack and Carly denied their feelings when Sage confessed her plan but still shared a moment when their daughter sang in the pageant. Having arrived with Craig, Liberty railed at Parker for going along with the plan to take Jack away from her mother. The pair reconciled their differences while walking in the woods but also got lost, and Parker was seriously injured. After spending the night in a cave, the teens stumbled back to the hotel and were taken to the hospital. Parker was okay, but the doctor told Janet that her daughter was seriously ill. Dusty comforted Janet, who had to tell Liberty that she had leukemia! When Carly caught Jack moving out of her house, their good-bye turned into a passionate kiss.
