Adam Changes His Will!
Colby tried acting as though she’d had a change of heart where Annie was concerned but privately plotted ways to take her stepmom down. Scott was turned on by a glimpse of Annie doing a sexy dance for his uncle but reluctantly walked away. Shortly after, he, Liza and Colby heard a scream from the parlor, where they found a scantily-clad Annie over Adam, who’d had a coronary thanks to his wife’s scandalous dance! At the hospital, Adam was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and had a pacemaker installed. Meanwhile, Colby told JR that she believed Annie had tried to kill their dad! When Adam returned home, he met with his longtime attorney, Barry, before telling his family about some unconventional changes he’d made to his will!
Amanda Gets Played (Again)!
Amanda was thrilled by a romantic surprise Jake had arranged, but David chose that moment to call and manipulate her into feeling guilty for having fun while he was supposedly dying. Upset, Amanda cut her date short and instead researched David’s disease, at which point she found out it’s hereditary! Angie and Jake tried comforting Amanda, who feared Trevor could have the disease, by offering to do a DNA test on the tot. Marissa also was tested out of fear she might have the disorder, as well. When both tests came back negative, Amanda and Marissa questioned Trevor’s paternity, prompting Jake to steal David’s hairbrush and test the doc’s sample — as well as samples from himself and JR — against the tot’s DNA. Everyone was thrilled to hear the results: Jake is Trevor’s father!
Will David Leave Town?
Greenlee convinced David to let Dr. Clayton do her surgery despite the risks. There were some initial complications, but thoughts of Ryan helped her pull through. Back in Pine Valley, Opal read Ryan’s tarot cards and declared that someone from his past would be returning. David confided to Greenlee that he was allowing everyone in Pine Valley to believe he had a fatal disease. She suggested he take her back to town so that she could paint him as a hero for having saved her life. The devious doctor eventually admitted to everyone that he isn’t actually dying. Hearing the news, a stunned Marissa refused to forgive him, and Jake attacked the doc before asking Liza to file a civil suit against him! Meeting with David, Liza convinced him that it would be best if he left town. Much to Greenlee’s disappointment, David decided it would be best, as well!
Pine Valley Bulletin
Hearing that Madison needed work, Randi hesitantly suggested that the blonde take an entry-level job at Fusion. Much to her chagrin, Erica instead hired Madison as her personal assistant! Ryan decided to help Erica run Fusion. Madison spied the pair kissing but promised to keep quiet. After hearing Erica tell Ryan that working at Fusion felt meaningless in comparison to her efforts in Africa, Madison suggested that Ms. Kane create a line of cosmetics whose proceeds would go to the Miranda Center. Randi was shocked when, after Erica agreed to the plan, Madison gave her credit for the idea! Ryan and Annie were ordered to share custody of Emma, with each getting her on alternate weeks. Trying to cheer up Liza after her nasty run-in with Colby, Tad took his ex dancing — and they ended up kissing! Heading off for some sexual shenanigans, the pair ran into Krystal and Rob, who were also about to engage in some hanky-panky! Fearing there was still something between Tad and Krystal, Liza pulled away from him. Once Tad assured her that his feelings for Krystal were a thing of the past, he and Liza finally made love. Natalie and Brot embarked on a busy night of crime-solving as they dealt with break-ins at Wildwind and ConFusion, as well as Colby’s car being stolen. Brot later found the teenager’s car at ConFusion, along with a military belt that was stained with blood!
